RAU – One of the Best Universities in the Country: An International Student’s Perspective

RAU is one of the leading universities in the country, with significant international recognition.

Alisher Yuldashov, a second-year master's student in the "Internet of Things and Cyber-Physical Systems" program at MIEM HSE, arrived at the Russian-Armenian University as part of the academic mobility program for the fall semester of the 2024-2025 academic year. In his account, Alisher shares his vivid impressions of life and study in Yerevan, which has become not only a new place of study for him but also a source of cultural discovery.

Alisher notes that from the very first days, he was captivated by the unique atmosphere of the city, where ancient history and modernity coexist, making Yerevan an inspiring and distinctive place. In his free time, he enjoys exploring the city, appreciating its historic neighborhoods, and immersing himself in Armenian culture. Walking through the central streets, visiting local cafes and restaurants offering traditional Armenian dishes, has become an essential part of his experience.

When it comes to his studies at the Russian-Armenian University, Alisher highlights the high level of education and the enriching atmosphere of intercultural exchange. The university’s professors actively use modern teaching methods, allowing students not only to deepen their knowledge in their chosen fields but also to develop vital intercultural communication skills.
